Well, it has been weeks since Irma left, but this is the first time I have thought about visiting this page. Chuck and I fall into the same category of “Arizona Friends”, even though our part time in AZ was not the same as the rest of the snowbirds!!
I think Irma and I have shared at least a thousand hours of sitting poolside! I waited for the almost daily text from her that said, “Pool time” and we could laugh, vent our frustrations or catch up on girl talk! I feel like I know her children, siblings and even a lot about her parents and her life growing up! We could solve most of society’s problems if someone would have just listened to our creative solutions!
I very much miss Irma but I am so happy that I can claim her as my friend forever.
